That was beautifully restored and perfect hotel set in central area, very close to a traditional ryokan, senso-ji temple and Close to subway stations. All the staff was enthusiastic, resolved my issues. Big room in japanese bedroom, I had an excellent stay. I liked the Japanese design here;)))

Comfortable location, it was just off subway, minimart, temple and restaurant, train station, and sightseeing spots. The a single room in japanese bedroom, facilities worked for us.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient bike rental service at the ryokan. It made exploring the city a breeze!
Felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.

Stayed at a "traditional" Japanese inn where I slept on the floor. The free bicycles were a nice touch. I also enjoyed the peaceful garden and the handy microwave in the common area.
Who needs privacy anyway? The thin walls made it easy to share every moment with my neighbors.

The value for money at this hotel was great, with comfortable futon beds and spacious rooms. The location was excellent, with plenty of shopping and eating options nearby, and easy access to multiple subway lines. The staff, especially Satoshi-san, were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.
Breakfast delights would be improved with more variety or options.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming ryokan in a convenient location. The boss was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our comfort throughout our visit. The traditional rooms were cozy and provided a true Japanese-style experience. We loved the proximity to Asakusa attractions, as well as the nearby subway station, supermarket, and variety of dining options. The ryokan's atmosphere, with its traditional Japanese bath and pub, added to the overall enjoyable experience. It felt like stepping into a scene from an Ozu film.
Everything was 💯

I stayed at Taito Ryokan for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, and it's within walking distance of multiple subway lines. The host, Satoshi, was friendly and spoke excellent English. The futon beds were very comfortable, and the room was surprisingly spacious for a Japanese hotel. The interior had a fantastic traditional feel, with tatami mats and a cozy kotatsu. I also appreciated the complimentary drinks and the abundance of area guides. it was a really cool ryokan experience.
I highly recommend this hotel.

As a fan of traditional Japanese culture, staying at Taito Ryokan was a dream come true. The tatami room provided an authentic experience, and I loved being able to sleep on the floor. The location was unbeatable, with the subway station nearby and attractions like Asakusa Temple and Skytree within walking distance. The surrounding streets were perfect for shopping, making it a shopper's paradise. Despite a few minor inconveniences like noise from other guests and the need for some maintenance, overall I had a fantastic stay at Taito Ryokan and would highly recommend it.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with the subway station just a few minutes away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The hotel is also located close to the vibrant Asakusa area, offering plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore. there is a 24-hour supermarket nearby, making it easy to grab any essentials you may need during your stay.
The soundproofing in the hotel is lacking, which can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
